After revealing the actors for Onodera, Chitoge and Raku, Weekly Shounen Jump magazine has announced three more cast members for the live-action Nisekoi movie. The first one is Haruka Shimazaki, a former AKB48 member, and she’s playing Marika Tachibana. This former AKB48 Team A member appeared in several films and dramas in her career, including Ghost Theater and Haunted Campus.

Meanwhile, popular Japanese singer, Daigo, will also be part of the movie as Chitoge’s overprotective guardian, Claude. Cardfight Vanguard fans might know him for performing several theme songs for the series, as well as appearing in the live-action movie.

Finally, actor Yuuta Kishi will be acting as Raku’s bestfriend, Shuu Maiko. He appeared in such works like live-action Kin Kyori Renai and Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai.

They will be joining 15-year old Natsume Ikema, who will be playing Kosaki Onodera, as well as the previously announced actors for Raku and Chitoge, Kento Nakajima and Ayami Nakajou.

Hayato Kawai, who previously directed the live-action Ore Monogatari movie, will be directing Nisekoi. Fans would also note that the Nisekoi manga previously had a crossover story with the Ore Monogatari manga, so the director really fits in nicely. TOHO will be distributing the movie in Japan starting December 21, 2018.

Nisekoi follows Raku Ichijou, the heir to a yakuza family. One day, he bumps into and gets into an argument with a pretty blonde girl named Chitoge. But afterwards, he finds out that she’s her classmate and is the daughter of the leader of a rival gang. And to prevent an all-out gang war from happening, their fathers force the two of them to have a fake relationship. What’s more is that Raku is in love with a different girl, Kosaki Onodera, and this complicates things further. The manga also received to highly successful TV anime adaptations in 2014 and 2015.
