UPDATES:

1. We are setting a deadline for performance. Please email us by the 14/01/08 [monday] 2359 hrs.

We will hold a run through/audition on the 19th of Jan 2008. Please make yourself free on that day.

2. booth registration deadline has moved back to the 14th of Jan 2008[MON] 2359 hrs

3. All changes in rental of booth, cosplay competition, performance are to be made by the 19th of Jan 2008 [SAT] 2359 hrs. No changes are allowed after that date. Please email: title: changes to *whatever* @ pr[at]soy-japtsubasa[dot]net

Latest Announcement: 13th Jan 2008

2 more days to the end of the registration deadline.
So register now!!!!.

The competition will go on!!!
And currently, we need more people to join the group competition!

Booth:
There will be no tablecloth for the booths. Please bring your own tablecloth, if you want.

We will release the floor plan and the booth layout after the registration. Please check your email then.

Official announcement! [15/01/08]

1.

WE have closed registration for the competitions!

We have 4 groups and 3 individuals joining the competition. due to the numbers we are more likely to only have 1st prize for each category, given out on that day. So contestants, do your best!!!

more details will be out later tonight!

We will be allowing booth registration to continue till 12 noon of 15th of Jan 2008 [Tuesday]. This is due to some email had bounced. If you did not receive a reply after sending your form in, that means we did not receive it.

You can try sending to togusa[dot]chan[at]gmail[dot]com if you email keep bouncing. [please send in the same format as the one you using to register]

Performances registration is extended to this friday [18/01/08],12 noon.
If you failed to get into the competitions, you still can perform!
Just email us of what you want to do and we will discuss from there.
Note: performances will have to go through a run through on the 19/01/08 [SAT], the meeting will be held in Ngee Ann Poly at 3pm.

Booth payments: We will be emailing all booth owners on the payment methods.

By bank transfer: There will be a DBS and a OCBC account which you can transfer to. Please sms/email us the transaction number once you done the transfer and to which account.

Cash payments: collection day: 19th of Jan 2008, Ngee Ann poly, from 3pm. finalised location will be emailed. If lost go to the atrium, and find the Japanese tsubasa club booth. They will direct you to the collection location.

2nd collection day: Registration counter during SOY.

We will hold your booth till payment is made.


There are shutter bus to ngee ann from clementi MRT on that day as it is NP's open house.

Media pass:
Due to we are receiving emails of people want to cover the event, we will be issuing media passes for:
  • All commercial or research-based, etc. media. [eg. school projects, reports, blogs with full reports.]
  • JTC have the right to not issue the pass or forcibly evict/confiscate any media presence in non-compliance with our rules and regulations.
  • Photos/films taken for personal use do not require a media pass.
  • Media passes allow holders to:
    1. Publish photos or films to printed, web and digital publications.
    2. Reproduce information for research purposes.
  • Please note that media passes do not automatically grant full-access to all locations and people. Holders still have to follow the rules and regulations
    Attendee acceptance (for photographs, interviews et al) are still required.

To register for a pass, Please register at the registration counter during the Event.

REGISTRATION FOR INDIVIDUAL COSPLAY COMPETITION IS CLOSED

GROUP:We will have 5 groups fighting for the 1st and runner up prize during the event.

INDIVIDUALS: As we have 5 individual Entries, there will be 1st and runner up prize for that category.

The crowd favourite award is only for the 5 individuals. We will explain on how to vote for them during the event itself.

We have bag storage rooms!
The storage rates will go at $2 per 3 bags.

If you have 1 or 2 bags, it will still be $2.
You can drop off your bags together with friends and maybe save some money!
The rooms are at BLK 56, [across the road, next to the atrium ] *map will be up soon.*

Basic Schedule of the event.

11am: Open doors to the event area.
12.30pm: Officially Openning
1pm: Performance, followed by Individual Competition.

3pm: Performance, followed by Group Competition

5.30pm: Prize presentation
6pm: Official closing.
NOTE: The area will close up at 7pm, so you can hang around to 7pm.

This post is the same as the announcement on the announcement thread.

First of all, Japanese Tsubasa Club regrets to inform everyone that there will be a change in venue
due to the unexpected occurance of the Joint Admissions Exercise [JAE].
The information was only disseminated to us today and immediate planning and actions were taken due to the limited time frame.
The venue will be changed to LT 26.
Please be assured that there will be ushers located at the school bus stop to assist you to the actual location.
We sincerely apologise for inconvenience and hope to seek for your understanding.

To booth owners: there will be a new layout, which will be sent out tonight. Your booth numbers will be changed.

Performers and contestants: LT 26 is a performance lecture theatre. So there will be A BIG STAGE!!!!.
Note: We cannot get wireless hand free mics. we only have wired clip-on mics.
there is a special changing room behind the stage.
Dry runs will start at 10am, it will be close door.

For all vistors:
We are sorry for the change of location, but WILL have ushers and signs bringing all to the event area. The ushering point will be the big bus stop at outside of Ngee Ann poly's main gate. There will be a booth there.

If you are driving in to NP for the event. please follow this directions:
1. Enter by the main gate.
2. Turn right once you enter NP.
3. Drive straight down pass the sport complex which is on the right.
4. Go straight at the junction.
5. Turn in at car park 21 or 20 [CP-21 and CP-20]

to exit: follow the exit signs.
