Not wanting to start a flamewar or something just disappointed of getting a bootleg figurine from one of the store at EOY. Just compare the 2 photos below and you'll know why. ![]() ![]() The top Miku nendroid is the one I got from EOY and the one below is from Black Technology today. Up to you guys/gals to spot the difference. More info can be found here, and I am not going to delete my post on my blog. |

Seriously, if you wanted to blame the shop for getting a bootleg, you might as well knock yourself in the head in the first place. First you did not check well, secondly, you are putting the blame on the shop importing them over and selling it to you. Be glad that at least you have one figurine or whatnut to keep. Sure, many likes the original but hey, you are just saying "imitations are not allowed". Maybe you should look around Singapore and start to check which is the real one and which isn't. Coz I can assure you, that you will find lots of the same thing like that all over the island. Seriously, whats with putting the blame on the shop when you yourself are dissapointed in the quality of something that you want huh? Complain to CASE? Come on dude, you are just getting yourself a rejected "complain" if you do it. And quoted from your blog. Quote:
For my opinion, they are doing just fine in their business. If only just one tiny little mistake or whatnut (maybe they might not even know its a bootleg anyway) what are you gonna do about it?

| Post-Crazy Member | Figures are mostly made in China anyway. Well it is a learning experience, my first figure was an imitation shana. I display it anyway as a reminder. Next time when figure hunting, check the credibility of the shop and check the figure itself.

Got a couple of threads about comparing the fake and the real in the Merchandise section. For me, I will take alot of time to observe the figure. I think most of the collectors will take alot of time observing details. my first figure bootleg i bought was my Gundam Seed Destiny Stellar loussier figure. ah~ learn my lesson after that. well too bad you fall into the trap of bootlegs. The cost of the figures does really fool collectors.

and on the average, bootlegs figurines are sold at a lower pricing compared to original figurines. how much did you pay for that nendoroid? an average nendoroid cost ard 50-60 plus, depending on the yen to sgd rate which currently is stuck at 62.6 to 1 dollar SGD. btw those nendoroid sold in pan are like, 30 bucks to 40 range? if its the pricing that made u buy it, then i got to say is you never bother to check or ask if its real or imitated copy. especially with almost every stuff made in china, imitations are bound to happen, well just made do with it, and be more careful next time. pan in the box i would say is alright. but imagine people selling you bootlegs at original pricing.
