(yes, i'm one of the crazy people who rub lipgloss into my lipcolour. i'm under the delusion that it plumpens the lip better if rubbed/blended in. hehe.)
hahax~ that is if u have thin lips.
I have very full lips.. can only dab abit or put gloss in the center part. if not i look like i have sausage lips.. kekex~
But then again i love glosssss~~~~~ @_@

dark_malignity -->
any tips for using liquid eyeliner? don't know why mine don't look as nice as my pencil-drawn ones. sometimes draw halfway seems "run out of ink". then when i dab and draw again, it looks ugly.... wonder why.

1: illusion of big eyes without having to wear big eye contact lenses
a) use really really LIGHT eyeshadows (off-whites are best, esp the ones with a glittery sheen) on the tips of your eyelids.
b) blend the eyeshadow all the way to your eyebrows to make the whiteness look "natural"-ish.
c) gently lift ur eyelid and use liquid liner to carefully line the inner portion of ur upper eyelid. not the area above ur eyelashes where u usually apply eyeshadow and eyeliner, but the tiny strip of eyelid beneath your eyelashes.

and viola, bigger looking eye pupils. you can then enhance the look by coating your lashes with mascara.

2: how to make ur lipstick ULTIMATELY smudge-proof
this is really convenient for photoshoots, conventions or events where u need to eat continuously but still keep your lipcolour perfect.

a) apply foundation over your lips at the same time as when you use it on your face
b) apply pressed powder over your lips at the same time as when you use it on your face.
c) use a lip pencil to line your lips and colour it in (this is to make the SHAPE of your lips perfect. if you arent a perfectionist about this u can skip this step. hehe!)
d) apply lipcolour.
e) dab it off completely with tissue paper so your lips are only stained red with no lipstick left on it.
f) apply TWO-WAY CAKE to your lips. (if you dont have 2-way, pressed powder will do, but add an extra round of dabbing.)
g) apply lipcolour again.
h) dab it all off again.
i) apply PRESSED POWDER this time.
j) apply lipcolur for a third time.

viola. lipcolour that can last the whole day.

if u need extra heavy duty, repeat the dabbing and apply a fourth layer of lipcolour.

if you need super extra heavy duty (eg for 8h or more of lunch, dinner, snacking, plenty of drinking, lip-licking AND snogging), rub pressed powder into your final application of lipcolour. the powder acts as a sealant to make the latest layer of lipstick completely smudge-proof, so u wont leave kiss marks. and the less kiss-marks you leave the more colour stays on.
wouldn't it be super thick for the lipstick?

Hmm.. what I usually do is make face as plain as possible.. Put foundation all over ur face including lips to make it more pale, unlike girl's lips.
Emphasize and "reshape" your eyes by using black eyeliner. You can "reshape" it by drawing your eyes longer. If you have already long eyes, you can just line the eyeliner around the edges following your eye shape.
Usually girls eyes are more round or almond shape, so reshaping your eyes will make you look more like guy.
You can apply brown matt eyeshadows to make your eyes more deep set.

You can use little mascara, a more natural colour without alot of volume. (Or not)
Draw eyebrows thicker and more 'fierce' angle (also have to depend on your character). Some male characters have thin eyebrows...
Some shadow shading might be needed at below the cheeks there to make your face look slimmer.

Need not follow my steps, this is just the least I would do when I crossdress

I use Za eyeliner and it doesn't cause much smudges. I think everyone will know this but...

When you sneeze, don't squeeze your eyes together. It's probably a reflex action to prevent your eyeballs from falling out when you sneeze. Mine sure feel like they are going to when I don't close my eyes when sneezing.

Aloe vera gel is a good base for make-up.

Just something to add - Shader and highlighter help a lot when crossplaying/crossdressing.

Dust your cheekbones with highlighter to make them look higher and more pronounced, on the bridge of your nose to make it look longer and sharper, and on the chin to make your face appear sharper. Shade LIGHTLY on either side of your nosebridge beneath your brows to make your eyes more deepset.

A little white eyeliner on the inner corner of the eyes also helps to make hem look sharper.

But uhh. Please don't overdo it. Too much shader will make you look like a wayang actor. =D Hope this helps.
