I guess people would had said it but i'll do it again . The overall powerhouse today was the 50 people ( Including their road agents ) Naruto team . Very well organized and into character and i'm surprised to see more than one gundam cosplay today .
One more thing , hope people don't leave their things lying around the conference halls area without proper carer and surveillance by your trusted friends . Best to put it at luggage area next time because a number of people had lost their personal belongings .
There was once a dream, a dream that was Sgcafe
The dream was that all persons, from all lands could be made to live, in harmony, with each other and moderators. But alas, this dream was not to Sgcafe. -

Lol. My 1st visit to STAC EOYXD
I do hope that the exit will be stationed better/marked out.
Because the re-entry n exit is from one point...so it's sorta congested at times...yeah.hope u can understand dat^^
Aum...mayb e stalls can e stationed at a specific area. cos dis yr, ppl sit on e floor n u hav to go one BIG round to get to those stalls around e perimeter of e halls...Sry to have so many comments...
Well done still^^
Totally enjoyed my stay today^^ -

The hall is too small for the growing numbers of cosplayers, photographers and public.
Example: When one group of cosplayers posed and photographers taking photos, many people are actually unable to go through the path. ._.

was at EOY 2008 today.
Great event; as I got to see loads of old and new friends.
but, I wonder was any one told not to gather OUTSIDE the paid area; to prevent congestion by gathering or photogs taking cosplayers?
Or risk being removed by STAC?
email to coszonesg@gmail.com for yearly and half-yearly lens.

Hey that JoW approved thing was a pleasant surprise. XD (although how it came about was kinda hilarious)
It's like every cosplayer stands a chance to win somethingbe appreciated now. Not just those who like to perform on stage.
Thank you!

The event was awesome! Other than the usual complaints about the insufficient space (I got jabbed in the face by a gun-welding cosplayer), congestion, etc, etc...It was great.
Though I wished there was mass dances (like really large-scale mass dances ala Cosfest's Caramelldansen). It is kinda impossible though...With the sheer crowds and all.
One thing that improved from last year was the voting system. I recalled we had to tell the people in charge about our chosen votes last time. Now it's all DIY computerised. Which made things alot faster. So well done on that.
P.S. About the sound system...Could something be done about its tendency to pause suddenly?

We actually (As in STAC) used to give our own special mentions with prizes, but Joe's idea meshed very well with our own and we know his stamp comes with quality
(Also, to be fair, Kheldar cannot be at 300 places at once, despite what the legend says)
Edit: Swear to God that sound system never wants to be ok with us. We complain about it every year... >>_>

the luggage storage area is a very welcoming and much needed addition. there was no long queues and the staffs there are all very friendly and approachable. that certainly leaves a very good impression on me. thumbs up.
