Balmung -> i not sure who was he but he was cosplaying a german WW2 soldier... [ i think only got afew of them in the forums.]

I think he cosplayed a soilder laste EOY as well. I still didn't get his name even though I asked him. >.< He gave a whole string of numbers that just blew my mind. -.-||| Haha.

Alright, you guys. I'm the one in Pictures #1 & #2.

That outfit was actually from the last century's Cold War era... a Grenztruppen der DDR (East German Border Troops) non-career* NCO, Parade Uniform Version. Notice the steel helmet I'm wearing in the pics... it's a Modell 56 / 3 Stahlhelm. A composite version, for Wachregiment (Guard Regiment) troops, is also available.

Although design features on East German unis may look outwardly similar to WW2 ones, take note of this... NEVER confuse them altogether!

*: Conscripts serving their compulsory 18 months of service and soldiers on a short-term contract lasting 3 years. All of them wear stone-grey wool uniforms.
