Come and experience the excitement of Japan's summer with Japanese food, festival goods, yoyo-tsuri (water balloons), games and bon-odori dance! 「Programme」 1 Bon-odori Rental fees (cash payment) : Yukata $2 ; Obi $1 * Limited numbers of children's yukata are available for rental 2 Food & Drinks Booths (cash payment) 3 Game Corner (cash payment) Yoyo-tsuri (water balloons), basketball games etc In accordance with the direction from the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA), Kingyo-sukui (goldfish scooping) will be discontinued. 「Shuttle Bus Service 」 Free Shuttle Bus Service Singapore Expo → The Japanese School Changi From 4:00pm－to 7:15ｐｍ (Every 15 minutes) The Japanese School Changi → Singapore Expo From 7:30ｐｍ→to 11:00ｐｍ (Every 15 minutes) Map for shuttle bus service 「Advance tickets 」 5000 advance tickets (JAS members only) are available on a first-come-first-served basis at JAS Front Office (1F) from 13 July (Mon). 「Admission」 $2 Each person is required to purchase 1 ticket for admission Please note: *Limited numbers of tickets are available for purchase on the actual day. However, it is advisable to purchase tickets in advance as long queues are expected. *Non-Advance Tickets are only available at the Japanese School (Changi) on the actual day. They are not available at the JAS Front Office. *Free admission for pre-school age children. *It is difficult to estimate and prepare enough food for the event's turnout and we seek your kind understanding on this. You may wish to bring along your own food to avoid the expected long queues. 「Recruitment of Volunteers for Yukata wearing」 We are recruiting volunteers who can offer their assistance with yukata wearing for approximately 2 hours on the actual day. For those who are interested but may not be confident, please feel free to join the free workshops every Thursday morning (Kimono Wearing Club activity day) in July and August. Bon-odori Practices In addition to Singapore Ondo, Tanko Bushi, Soran Bushi, Doraemon Ondo, Rasa Sayang, Chan Mali Chan, we will also practice Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea this year. Do join us for the dance practice sessions! Attire poster courtesy of Yukin0-ChaN For those intending to rent the yukata, wear/bring along slippers, beach sandals, geta or zori, wear low collared shirts and shorts. DO NOT WEAR LONG PANTS OR JEANS.
