Hiya everyone! We are back!

We hope you remember A.C.M.E which debut in 2009, at NAFA. This year we are back to bring you more authentic and limited anime merchandises from Japan, showcase of fantastic local doujinshi works and more!

Date: 28 Aug 2010, Saturday
Time: 11am to 6pm
Venue: Sculpture Square (more location details)
Entrance: Free

What will be happening

Touhou Hisoutensoku Tournament
We had great games with the Touhou fans last year and the tournament is back again! This tournament will be using Touhou Hisoutensoku (12.3, patch 1.10) and prizes to be won!

Tournament Timings :
12pm sharp - Briefing and draw for starting match-up. Followed by warm-up matches / practice matches.
1pm sharp - First knock-out round begins.
3pm sharp - Quarter-finals begins followed by Semi-finals.
4pm sharp - Final Match.

Charafest by KKnM

Isn't this event that keeps clashing with Natsu Matsuri every year? Why can't you guys just shift to a later or earlier date to avoid clashes of these two events?

you know.. this happen only happen once. which is LAST year.
so saying it every year is wrong.
This year will be is 2nd year.
it didn't really clash so much also since acme was morning and natsumatsuri starts in the evening.

And they can't change the date if they don't even know what natsumatsuri date, don't you think so.
Natsumatsuri don't release their date so early

I cannot wait for this event! Cannot wait what goodies KknM is going to bring down this year! *better start saving*

Even if it "clashes" it is only because they are on the same date. Natsu Matsuri happens in the evening, ACME usually happens in the afternoon and ends at around 7. As far as I am concerned these two events have nothing to do with each other, and even for last year, also did not clash, considering the timing.

Unless you consider queuing in the hot afternoon part of Natsu Matsuri. In which case suit yourself.

I think what's he talking is about Charafest by KKnM. ACME started last year but Charafest (Part of ACME) has been going on for quite a long time already.

For me, I had to go through the hassle of passing my goods to my friends or family members or go back home to put my stuffs before Natsu every year. Maybe because I buy too much?

For 3 years, by the time I reach Natsu, which is usually 1 hour before the event starts, by the time I get in, the apple candy's gone, and I have an advanced ticket. Kinda sad.

Well, time to get leave on the day itself and prepare to camp overnight if allowed. I personally heard from Sharon from KKnM that they are planning to abolish the "member queue" from this year.

IF THEY EVER DO THAT.... i'm so camping overnight alr.. only reason i didn't bother was cause of the member queue. >.<

from what i know it didn't really clash all the time.

I mean like the way he say it.. IS LIKE YOU CANNOT CLASH EVENTS..
this event already have said date.. now is up to natsu masturi date so see if is clash.
there is reason why they want to put it during that date also.
Sometime You just cannot avoid this clash timing. seriously.

For natsu candy apple I cannot say because I also went and I didn't get any because those items sell so fast.
and well hope that they abolish the queue.

Edit: It still doesn't clash with Natsu Matsuri per se. Event goers do not have to make a choice as to which event they can go. They can go for both. So with proper planning, I really don't see why this is a problem.

But, well, it's not like we have to go to Natsu Matsuri. Personally I went for the event twice and am already sick and tired of it. It's the same damned thing every year. I'd be happy with ACME and then a nice dinner after that to hang out with friends than waste my time at some school in the middle of nowhere squeezing with crowds who are quite obviously uncomfortable in their Yukatas.

But don't let me stop you. I think both ACME and Natsu Matsuri are great events and, if you have the time AND energy, you should really attend both!

Really looking forward to ACME this year, even though I know, as usual I probably won't buy anything. =X

Well the main reason for this "clash of events" people are complaining about is because, KKnM had no choice but to choose that weekend.
It the weekend after the comiket week and right after we flown back from Japan, they have limited storage place to store the "war loots".
Furthermore won't you as customers want to get your hands on those "war loots" asap?
Its so happen that Natsu Matsuri also like that weekend.
