Yeah i know it's kinda fanservice in the beginning.. but..

I think someone should go count the highest number of pages in the manga between ecchi scenes. Because I don't think it's going to be more than 15. >_>

Haha it's actually not so bad. Take a look at volume 13, it's mostly ecchi-free =)

but i think the only downfall is the filming and directing. The costume, actors and enviroment's great. but yeah.. :/
you can watch the english sub on youtube.

i really hate kufei in the live action.. i was like. omg. wth.
nodoka's quite cute too. (in live action)

and i like evangeline~! and negi's father. lol.

real life tv series didnt have much impression of it. watch 1st epi only =x

Used to watch the raws till it got removed/licensed till epi 13... I don't really like the cast for Konoka.. she looks WAYYYY older than Asuna.. she sounds more mature than Asuna too.. Kufei looks weird.. the hairstyle should be changed..

And yet I still love the series.

Though (seriously), I stopped at Book 14, and am collecting up till a certain point so that I can read the lot at one shot (why not ?)

I tell you, Negima is the enxt Gundam. Or maybe the next DBZ.

It'll be the next Gundam if Akamatsu does different versions of it (LOL). It'll be the next DBZ if it becomes a shounen classic (which it seems to becoming)

There won't be fillers at all if you stick to the manga...

By the way speaking of ecchi scenes, negima is actually quite decent in that area... compared to trouble. That's seriously a manga where I doubt you have any chapter at all without some kind of nudity/panty-flashing etc

I don't know. Kodansha's weekly Shonen Magazine is relying on Negima as a cornerstone work, akin to what One Piece, Bleach or Naruto is to SJ.

I've lost interest in the story (not the characters though). And yes, I've stopped buying for quite some time now.
