Agreed, Meow Meow is right, Check out Nathan East, very very good and experienced bassist, he's been around since like before some of u guys were born haha, check him out pls, guaranteed to be an inspiring experience for bassists of all levels ^^

as for your chorus, what it does is that it dupes your inputs and delayed the duped for a couple of thousandths of a second, giving your a "2 similar instruments playing the same thing" feel. if i'm not wrong, some chorus pedals even detunes the duped input alittle to being out the lead.

Edmund is well-versed in this field ^^ but i think the best is go youtube and find vids, lotsa ppl testing out their equipment and posting it on youtube ^^
