...Oh well, it seems that Xedo Defense, the only website that follows the Odex Saga, has truly died.

I guess nobody cared about being "with the resistance movement" anymore.

That's the best explanation I can think of. However, if Odex revives the witchhunt.... it'll come back.

But I doubt it'll happen

It means the saga is over and Odex has learned to mind its own business (not much of a business though, if it's only on mIo), so there's no point to continue the resistance, since there's nothing to resist anymore.

The saga may be over, there may be nothing to resist, and Odex may have moved on, but intellectual property rights will continue to be an issue for the forseeable future.

The board needs to be retitled, but I suppose the name will remind us that it was this incident which raised these issues, just as Chernobyl raised the issues of nuclear power.

So true, may this incident promote better co-op between the IP owners and the fans rather then 1 hurting another.

And it's a also a good lesson to all companies that, a PR dept is really needed.
