The final episode of K-ON! was a pleasant surprise for fans as they announce that a movie version is coming. The official website has also updated about it, not much details as of now but we know the moe blob lives on for now.

kakifly (かきふらい)’s K-ON! manga will have its last installment listed on September 9th at Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara magazine. This will be the final series of the 4-panel manga. All good things come to an end and this applies to K-ON! too, no news if kakifly will be continuing the series any time soon.
TBS Holdings from Japan have announced its financial results for the first quarter in the fiscal year of 2011. In general, K-ON!! merchandise such as T-Shirts and character goods have earned in 1.8 billion yen in profits. That alone does not include licensing rights of the anime itself.
Only in Kyoto. K-ON!! characters will be promoting as image characters for Japan’s 2010 Census that will kick-start in October 1. K-ON!!’s popularity is soaring, no doubt, their characters have been using in various campaigns and also the rabid array of merchandise around.
K-ON! Concert Blu-ray disc ( K-ON! Live Event Let’s Go!) is still going strong as the best top selling music bluray disc in Japan. It has also hit other top records such as selling 22,000 copies to rank as the #1 overall Blu-ray release during the week between June 28-July 4.
I wonder if one of the K-ON! girls wil say “SEGAAAA” in the game. Regardless, “K-ON! After School Life” will be launched in September and it’ll be priced at about 6,900 yen. Pre-ordering the game will get you some free goodies such as stickers.
