Not long after we report on the PSP2, folks from Engadget have some reliable source and gotten leaked photos of a PlayStation Phone, supposedly running on Google’s Android 3.0 platform. The phone will include a custom Sony Marketplace for purchasing of games designed on this platform.

Generally a little similar to the PSPgo, albeit with the phone function and features, the PlayStation Phone has a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and a touch display that is between 3.7 to 4.1 inches and you might be surprised, the phone will use microSD cards, not Memory Stick. The phone sports the Sony Ericcson logo at the front and has a camera with LED flash behind.

The phone will probably be heading for a early 2011 release but as there are no official source, we are looking forward. Could this be the rumored PSP2 or maybe the PSP2 is something more ?
