After more than a year’s absence, SM Entertainment’s boyband, Super Junior, is now back with their bold ‘Ubersexual’ concept and brand new album, ‘Mr. Simple’.
Their full MV was released on YouTube on August 4, to the excitement of ELFs (Everlasting Friends, Super Junior fans), all around the world, garnering over 1 million views in just a single day.
As of today, it has surpassed the 5 million mark in terms of views and ranked 1st place as ‘The Most Viewed Video’, ‘The Most Commented Video’ and ‘The Most Favourited Video’ on YouTube, proving the boys’ power in the Hallyu Wave that has been sweeping the world.
True to the K-Pop fever in Japan, Super Junior’s 5th album, ‘Mr. Simple’ was released on Japan’s largest music portal, Tower Records on August 8, and has succeeded in topping both the online charts and physical album sales charts as well.
Currently, Super Junior are into their second week of promotions on the main music shows: MNET MCountdown, KBS Music Bank, MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo.
