New characters in the upcoming OreImo PSP game sequel – Kaori Makishima and Kanata Kusuru (Saori and Kanako’s elder sisters) –  are voiced respectively by Houko Kuwashima and Rie Kugimiya, the latest issue of Dengeki magazine revealed.

Kaori Makishima (CV: Houko Kuwashima)

Saori’s elder sister, and also founder of the otaku circle “Pretty Garden”. A jack of all trades, and master of many, she’s currently “working” as a pro gamer.

Kanata Kusuru (CV: Rie Kugimiya)

Kanako’s elder sister, a mangaka who has seven pen names – including that of Ganma Yamanashi, the creator behind Kuroneko’s favourite anime, Mascera.

An incredible mangaka whose writing and drawing styles change whenever she puts on a different pair of glasses and assume a different pen name, her mannerisms are quite similar to those of “Saori Bajeena” (the otaku persona Saori Makishima puts out when she hangs out with Kirino and friends).

In fact, Saori actually based the Bajeena persona on Kanata, who was the original owner of those “guru guru” glasses Saori currently wears.

The magazine also revealed that players with save data from the first game will be able to access extra scenarios in this sequel, although it wasn’t clear if content from the original game would be included here for the benefit of those who don’t have it.

Check back later (… or just follow us on Twitter and Facebook) for some screenshots from the new game – including one of Ayase in swimwear, and another where Kuroneko is in a bath towel. In the meantime, here’s a trailer:

Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable ga Tsuzuku Wake ga Nai (yes, that’s the game’s full title) goes on sale in Japan March 29.
