It may be a while before Sega is able to announce Hatsune Miku Project Diva F-related merchandise, Diva F’s producer Seiji Hayashi said in an interview with 4Gamer.

In the meantime, however, Sega isn’t going to simply leave Hatsune Miku figure collectors (and UFO crane game players) in the lurch with nothing new to collect.

This week they’ve announced a new “Sega Prize” Hatsune Miku figure – based on the key visual design illustrator Kei provided for Project Diva Extend – that will be introduced into their UFO Catcher machines from August onwards.

Just because the figure is meant as a prize for UFO Catcher crane-game machines, doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll have to travel all the way to Japan and feed the machines dozens of 100-yen coins in order to  get one.

Most, if not all, of the Sega Prize goods can be purchased directly from Amazon Japan, through this link here.

Although obviously the newly-announced Project Diva Extend figure is not yet listed on Amazon, if you visit the link now you’ll be able to find the Vocaloid-themed iPhone cases and Vignetteum Cute dioramas mentioned in our previous Hatsune Miku Sega Prize merchandise report, as well as K-On!, Evangelion, and Suzumiya Haruhi related goods.

Or just more Hatsune Miku merch. Such as this delectable Fairy of Music figure:
