Diomedea, the publishers of manga/anime series Senryaku!! Ika Musume has “inked” a deal with built-to-order PC maker Unitcom to bring you a series of notebooks themed after the well-loved comedy series.

The 15.6″ notebooks (and one 10.1″ netbook model) are emblazoned with original artwork, and will come installed with three sets of Windows system voice/sound effects – “Invasion mode”, “Worker mode”, and “Freeloader mode” settings, each featuring different lines from Ika Musume voice actress Hisako Kanemoto – recorded specially for the occasion, plus a variety of wallpapers with the titular squid girl in the spotlight.

Each notebook also comes stowed away in a carton case that’s plastered with Ika Musume illustrations.

Three configurations of the laptop are available: entry model (99,800 yen), standard model (120,000 yen) and high-spec model (160,000). All models come with a GeForce GT650M discrete graphics with 1GB memory and Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

The GT650M is paired with an Intel Pentium B960 on the entry level model, 4GB RAM and a SuperMulti Drive, while the standard and high-spec models get i3 and i7 processors (respectively), 8GB RAM, and a Blu-ray/DVD drive. All notebook models also sport a 15.6″ full-HD (1920×1080) display.

For fans who prefer to draft their invasion plans from a smaller, more discrete terminal, Diomedea has also prepared a 10.1″ model that features a 1024×600 display, Intel AtomN2800 (1.8GHz x2) processor, 4GB RAM and 120GB of SSD storage (on the notebook models only the high-spec model comes with it). This netebook runs Windows 7 Home Premium, and will run you 79,800 yen.

All four models are available for pre-orders from now till August 31, 2012 from Digi-Tsuhan. The actual ship date for the notebooks is at the end of October.
