Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Extra costumes designed by various illustrators, including UK’s Simon Bisley
That’s Alisa, Heihachi, and Anna you see in the image above, donned in a set of special “collaboration” costumes – designed by various illustrators in Japan (and one abroad) – that will be featured in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
Famitsu revealed images for six of these collaboration costumes today. Some of which were designed by illustrators whom the Project Tekken team worked with for extra costumes in previous games.
Which is your favourite?
Design: Mutsumi Inomata (いのまたむつみ), who designed Jin and Xiaoyu’s extra costumes in Tekken 5, and Zafina’s in 6. Has also worked on the Tales of series, and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny.
Design: Shigeto Koyama (コヤマシゲト), who’s credited for design works on Eureka Seven AO, Gurren Lagann movie, Evangelion 2.0 movie, and more.
Design: Ryouji Minigawa (皆川亮二), who did Lee Chaolan, Marshall Law’s extra constumes in Tekken 5, Roger Jr.’s in 6.
Design: Ito Oogure (大暮維人), better known as Oh! great (Air Gear, Tenjho Tenge). Did Asuka Kazama’s third costume in Tekken 5, Lili’s third costume in Tekken 6. Also designed Ashlotte for SoulCalibur IV.
Design: British comic-book artist Simon Bisley.
Design: Katsuya Terada (寺田克也), character designer for Blood the Last Vampire. Also did creature designs for Kamen Rider W.
