Manga artist Hajime Isayama’s hit manga series Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin, 進撃の巨人) is getting a TV anime adapation, a preview of the next issue of Bessatsu Shounen Magazine (on sale December 8 in Japan) has revealed.
The Attack on Titan anime will be broadcast to Japanese TV stations sometime in Spring 2013.
For exact specifics on Attack on Titan‘s TV anime adaptation – which anime studio will produce the series, who are the cast members on board, etc – you’ll want to pick up a copy of the magazine when it hits newsstands in Japan (or your local import book store) later this month. These details have not yet been released on the Net.
The preview of the upcoming January issue of Bessatsu Shounen Magazine also reveals that the previously announced TV anime adaptation of The Flowers of Evil (Aku no Hana, 惡の華) will also premiere in the Spring 2013 Japanese TV anime season.
Both Attack on Titan and The Flowers of Evil are on-going manga series serialised in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine. Some of the other manga series currently running in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine includes Sankarea, Ixion Saga, Loveplus Rinko Days, and From the New World.
