Midas Promotions has issued an official statement over their facebook page earlier this evening after claiming to have received a legal letter from Namie Amuro’s management, citing “No Possibility to Hold the Show”.

Fanclub members of the Japanese pop queen have already received refunds from the Japanese management last week, and most, if not all have received full refunds before Sunday,  14 April. However, Tickets were still on sale through Sistic during that period, and Midas Promotions insisted that the show will go on despite tickets already undergoing refunds to the Japanese fanclub members.

This is the first time a Japanese artiste has cancelled a show in Singapore due to ‘local technical reasons’.
