Do you want a sneak peek of the upcoming Rozen Maiden? Do you want to watch the first two seasons again with Blu-ray quality? If the answer to either question is yes, then you’ll want to read on.

A new trailer of the upcoming Rozen Maiden anime has been posted on the anime’s official website featuring all of the dolls from the previous iterations, as well as a new, yet familiar tune by Ali Project. Those of you who are fans of the original Rozen Maiden from 2004 will be filled with nostalgia when you lay your eyes on this trailer.

Now that you’re filled to the brims with nostalgia, you may want to watch all of the past episodes again. Luckily for you, the anime’s website has also listed details on the two Blu-ray box sets that will be available before the anime airs.

The first season box set will be released on May 24 and cost 19,950 yen. The box will contain:

  • A beautiful disc case illustrated by Peach-Pit
  • All twelve episodes of the first season
  • Audio commentary for episode 1 by the voice actresses Miyuki Sawashiro and Asami Sanada.
  • Credit-less versions of the opening and ending animations
  • A 12-page booklet

Not only that, but the first press run will include bonus Graphig figures of Shinku and Suigintou, so hardcore fans who want these cute figures should get their copies as quickly as possible.

The second season, Rozen Maiden Träumend, will get its own Blu-ray box set on June 28 and cost 22,575 yen. It will include all 12 episodes of the anime, as well as the two episodes of the side story Rozen Maiden Ouvertüre. No picture of this box set is available, but it will contain similar bonus content as the first season box. Instead of Graphig figures, however, the first press run will include three dress-up cards with their own holder.

Once you’ve seen the entire series again, you’ll be ready for the next Rozen Maiden anime coming this July. If you want to check the cast and staff again, then be sure to read our previous article.
