Watch Dogs, to be launched on November 19, has a few additional features for those who pre-order.
Watch Dogs takes place in Chicago, where a man named Aiden Pierce uses his smartphone to virtually hack the entire city in an act of vengeance. It is an open-world action game where players will be able to take control of security cameras and steal classified personal information. It will be powered by Disrupt, and developed by Ubisoft, the creators of Bioshock and Assassin’s Creed.
For those who reserve Watch Dogs at Gamestop in North America, a bonus single-player mission titled ‘The Palace Pack’ will be available. It also includes an ATM hack boost that increases the amount of money received after a successful ATM bank account bust. Gamers will also receive a poster of the cover design made by DC and Marvel comic artist Alex Ross.
For those who plan to reserve Watch Dogs through Amazon, the details are a little different. Players will get access to the ‘Signature Shot Pack,’ which is a single-player mission with the biometric assault rifle and black viceroy’s outfit as the end reward. I don’t know about you, but I would take the outfit over the rifle any day since that jacket is all kinds of cool.
So far, these bonus features are accessible to North America. Since Watch Dogs will be released worldwide however, let’s hope for some more inclusive news in the future!
