To celebrate its recent success, an enormous head of the 50-meter class Titan is on display on Kodansha’s headquarters in Bunkyo, Tokyo.
Without a doubt, Shingeki no Kyojin is recently experiencing success… a lot of success. Recently, the manga reached a new milestone by selling more than 20 million copies… and counting! It has also made the top 10 in the Oricon Charts with the number of mangas sold for the first half of 2013! Not only that, its anime is also quite popular.
The Colossal Titan’s head will be on display for a period of seven days. The head from top to bottom stands at a gigantic (no pun intended) four meters. Its width is about 3.5 meters. The head is actually an inflatable balloon. It can be views at the first floor entrance of the Kodansha Headquarters in Bunkyo, Tokyo from 9:30 am until 5:30 p.m.
Shingeki no Kyojin (or Attack on Titan) is a manga by Hajime Isayama. It is about a time when man is facing extinction against giants who seemed to come out of nowhere. It is serialized by Bessatsu Shonen Magazine which is owned by Kodansha.
