Perfume has just been invited in a media/advertisement festival in France called ‘Cannes Lions International Creative Festival’. To appear in such an event is a first for the girls, and a first for Japanese artists.The Cannes Lions is the highest award giving body in the world of advertising with the big awards it will present and is the world’s biggest advertising festival with Cannes Lions International Creative Festival. The Cannes is also celebrating its 60th year this year, making it an even more prestigious event. This years festival will be from June 16 to June 20.

Perfume will be appearing on June 20 for Daito Manabe’s (Rhizomatiks) exhibit. Manabe has taken part in many of Perfume’s visuals – like the Perfume Global Site and holographic performances among others. With Perfume as his theme, he plans to show the fusion of the highest-level Japanese entertainment and the highest-level digital art to creators around the world – also with Perfume themselves onstage.


Also, with the world as its target, a new project is under way for the said festival as a countdown has just started in Perfume’s global site.  The countdown could be viewed by clicking Perfume Global Site Project #003 on the page. Let’s keep an eye on it and see what happens when the countdown reaches zero.



Perfume WORLD TOUR 2nd, particularly the London concert, will also be showing live in theaters in Japan. The tickets for the London live sold out in an instant even after a transfer from O2 Academy Islington to O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, which can hold a thousand more in the audience, making it an even bigger live to look out for. An interview by the Japanese embassy in UK has also been released for the enthusiastic fans.

Last year November, for WORLD TOUR 1st, the country lucky to have its live showed in Japan is Singapore, gathering approximately 28,000 fans in the movie theaters in Japan. It is also the Singapore leg that is recorded in the concert DVD.
