The anime Valvrave the Liberator has just started its manga serialization in yesterday’s issue of Jump SQ (June 4, July issue). The art will be done by manga artist Karega Tsuchiya.
Valvrave the Liberator is an original anime series produced by Sunrise. It has aired its first episode on April 11 and is currently airing with a second season scheduled on October. It also features the OP “Preserved Roses”, a collaboration song by two of the most powerful names in AniSong – T.M. Revolution and Nana Mizuki. Character design for the manga serialization will be done by Katsura Hoshino, known for “D.Gray-man”.
The serialization will be in Jump SQ.19 and will start from this month onward. The next issue will be sold on August 19, in Jump SQ.19 Vol.9.
Also featured in today’s Jump SQ is Minoru Sasaki’s “Salaryman Exorcist: Okumura Yukio no Aishuu”, a spinoff of Kazue Katou’s “Ao no Exorcist”. It is part two from the one published in Jump SQ.19 Vol.7; a much talked about comedy. Also featured is Ato Sakurai’s one shot, “Higajo no Mon”, with a special color center page. The next issue, to be sold on July 4, features a new serialization by Yuuji Garai called “FANTASMA”. It kicks off the issue with a special color page. The issue will also have the final chapter of Yoshiaki Sukeno’s “Binbougami Ga!”.
