With the movie hitting Japanese theaters on November 23, the movie’s official website has posted its latest trailer, a brand new key visual image and some character designs.
The trailer introduces Makoto Yuuki, the main protagonist who can use multiple Personas. He learns about the “Midnight Hour”, a mysterious hour hidden between midnight and 12:01 during which all action stops.
During his first encounter with the Midnight Hour, Makoto learns that he must awaken his persona in order to stop the shadows which awaken during this time.

Makoto will be voiced by Akira Ishida who is known for voicing Athrun Zala from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Byakuya Togami from Danganronpa the Animation.
Archery team member Yukari Takeba will be voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi. She is known for voicing The World God only Knows’ Nora and Danganronpa the animation’s Junko Enoshima.
Makoto’s close friend and classmate Junpei Iori will be voiced by Kousuke Toriumi. He has provided the voices of Hajime Saito from Hakuoki and Kiba Inuzaka from Naruto.
Student council president Mitsuru Kirijou will be voiced by Rie Tanaka. She is known for voicing Neptune/ Purple Heart from Hyper Dimension Neptunia, Suigintou from Rozen Maiden and Maria from Hayate no Gotoku!
Boxing team captain Akihiko Sanada will be voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa. He has voiced anime characters like Kaede Rukawa from Slam Dunk and Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh!
Shy girl Fuuka Yamagishi will be voiced by Mamiko Noto. Noto has voiced Tiffania Westwood from Zero no Tsukaima, Mavis Vermillion from Fairy Tail, Ai Enma from Jigoku Shoujo and Kimi ni Todoke’s Sawako Kuronuma.
Elisabeth, the guide to the mysterious Velvet Room will be voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro. She is known for voicing Beelzebub from Beelzebub, Shinku from Rozen Maiden and Kurapika from Hunter X Hunter (2011).
The mysterious upperclassman Shinjirou Aragaki will be voiced by Kazuya Nakai. He is the voice actor known for Zoro Roronoa from One Piece and Hijikata Toushirou from Gintama.
Finally, voice recordings from the late Isamu Tanonaka will be used to voice the mysterious master of the Velvet Room, Igor.
This will be the first Persona 3 movie and has been named Persona 3: Spring of Birth. Bakuman director Noriaki Akitaya will be at the helm of the movie as the director. The movie series is based on the popular Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 rpg game by Atlus for the PlayStation 2 and the PSP.
