The OP and ED artistes for the second season of Valvrave the Liberator, which is scheduled to go on air in Japan later this year in October, were announced today.
Nana Mizuki and T.M. Revolution will once again collaborate on the new OP for the anime’s season show, after the immense success of the Nana Mizuki X T.M. Revolution hit anisong Preserved Roses, which served as the opening theme for the first season.
Meanwhile, the new ED for S2 will be handled by Elisa, who was also the artiste that performed Valvrave the Liberator‘s very first ED, Soba ni Iru yo. This new ED is the third one cumulatively for the entire series.

“For the Nana Mizuki X T.M. Revolution this time around, we’re doing it in a way that looks like Team Mizuki is welcoming Nishikawa-san (T.M. Revolution) into our style of music. Our passionate singing, mixed with a rock sound. Please do look forward to it! I hope everyone will love the new song as much as they did for Preserved Roses, we’ll give our best,” she added.
“Here’s hoping that with this new song that I’m working with Mizuki-san on, we’ll be able to bring forth another revolution, and that we’ll kick off Valvrave the Liberator 2nd Season with a blast. Where is the show’s story headed? As an anime fan myself, I can’t wait to find out.”
“I’m extremely honoured to be singing the new ending theme for Valvrave the Liberator once again. The new song, entitled Realism, has a lot of my personal thoughts on the show embedded into it. I’ve also put my heart and soul into singing it,” said Elisa of the announcement today.
“I hope my thoughts will reach the hearts of everyone. Please look forward to it.”
Valvrave the Liberator 2nd Season airs in Japan in October. The first season of the show is available at anime streaming site Crunchyroll.com (US only).
