Without a doubt, Weiss Schwarz is one of the hottest trading card games around. The TCG encompasses several popular anime series like Sword Art Online, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Madoka Magica, Angel Beats, the To Aru series and much, much, much more.

Weiss Schwarz maker Bushiroad will be holding an event to celebrate the TCG’s 5th anniversary. Entitled “Black and White festival ~ WS 5th anniversary ~“, the event will be held from August 10-11 at the Pacifico Yokohama, Hall D.

Bushiroad will be giving away several cards to event attendees as well as customers who have bought the “Black and White pack”.

The event will not only feature the Weiss Schwarz trading cards but also several goodies from Nippon Ichi Software (NIS). The game developer will be setting up a booth during the event to peddle several items of merchandise from their popular Disgaea series.

Merchandise like this cute Prinny stuffed toy comes with a cuteness enhancing red muffler. It will be sold for 1,500 yen.

You can also spice up your bathrooms with this bath poster featuring Etna and Asagi. It will also be sold for 1,500 yen.

These Disgaea rubber stamps come in three different varieties, Laharl, Etna and Flonne. Each rubber stamp costs 500 yen.

You can also get your hands on the Asagi vocal album featuring that certain girl forced to become Zetta’s apprentice. It features seven songs, all of which were used in the games Asagi was in. The album costs 2,000 yen.

And speaking of Asagi, a fanbook will also be sold in her honor. It contains the “Asagi Diary” which contains a full-year’s worth of memories as well as several beautiful and colorful illustrations. The fanbook costs 1,500 yen.
