He will appear as a boss character in the upcoming cross-over fighting game which already has a stacked line-up featuring Dengeki Bunko’s most popular and powerful characters, like Shizuo Heiwajima from Durararara!! and Shana from Shakugan no Shana. Whether he will be a playable character or not hasn’t been announced so far.
This move isn’t surprising as Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is produced by Sega who is also responsible for the popular Virtua Fighter series. This won’t be Akira’s first venture into crossovers as the Hakkyoku-ken fighter has appeared in in other games aside from his home series like Project X Zone and Dead or Alive 5.
