Fans can vote online on how Heisei Rider vs. Showa Rider: Kamen Rider War feat. Super Sentai movie will end
Toei and the producers of the highly anticipated Heisei Rider vs. Showa Rider: Kamen Rider War feat. Super Sentai movie are giving the fans the power to decide how the epic clash of Kamen Riders will end. They already have two endings prepared for the fans but only one will be used for the movie’s true ending.
Toei has previously pitted the Kamen Riders against the Super Sentai heroes in various movies, yet these “VS movies” had no clear winner. Heisei Rider vs. Showa Rider: Kamen Rider War feat. Super Sentai however will be very different as there will be a clear winner in this clash. Toei’s Shinichiro Shirakura said:
We are seriously investing in victory or defeat this time so that is why we have prepared two endings. While both sides seek the same thing, whether the Showa Riders who fight evil for the good of society or the Heisei Riders who fight as individuals will win, it is completely up to the fans to decide.
Voting has already begun and fans can vote until March 28, 2014. International fans can vote as well and even if the voting website is in Japanese, it is still easy to understand since there are only two choices, Heisei Riders represented by Kamen Rider Gaim or Showa Riders represented by the original Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider 1.
As of 9:45 am (GMT+8), the classic Showa Riders are narrowly on the lead with 4,161 votes (53.9%) against the Heisei Riders’ 3,555 votes (46.1%). Fans can vote through this link.
The movie will include the original Kamen Rider himself, Hiroshi Fujioka who will Henshin into Kamen Rider 1 after 38 years. The movie will feature 30 Kamen Riders from the Showa Era (1926-1989) and the Heisei Era (1989-present) including the newest Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Gaim. The movie will also be featuring Japanese stand-up comedian Itsuji Itao who will play Kamen Rider Fifteen.
