You’ve probably heard their sweet voices as two of the school idols in the popular anime series, Love Live!, and now, the voice actresses providing both the singing and the voices for Maki and Rin have formed their very own idol unit which is called “4to6”.
Pile (who voices the red-haired tsundere with a beautiful voice, Maki Nishikino) and Riho Iida (who voices the sporty tomboy who just loves dancing, Rin Hoshizora) are still a huge part of μ’s but they will be even busier with their new idol unit called 4to6 which announced their debut yesterday, June 4, 2014. Both Pile and Riho Iida are only voicing Maki and Rin respectively and have not voiced any other anime character.
The two-member unit will be introducing their major debut single, “Watashi no Tokei wa Gyakukaiten!”(means ‘My watch is spinning the opposite direction!’) live from Tokuma Japan Communications on August 20, 2014. Their debut singleis written by Aki Hata who has also written all the songs μ’s have done. 4to6 will also be supervised by the same staff who have guided them in their Love Live! songs.
Their name 4to6 comes from the period of 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm which is usually the time period set for after school activities in Japan.
