This July, anime and manga fans from the Philippines will get to enjoy the Black Butler live action movie adaptation.
The film will be released through Axinite Digicinema Inc. and SM Cinema. It premieres on July 23 at all SM Cinemas nationwide.
This adaptation is set 130 years after the events in the manga. The story focuses on Kiyoharu, whose task is to investigate the murder cases with the aid of Sebastian Michaelis, the demon butler of the Phantomhive household.
The Black Butler movie marks the comeback of Hiro Mizushima — who plays Sebastian in the film — on the big screen. It also stars Ayame Goriki (as Kiyoharu), Yuka and Mizuki Yamamoto.
