Fans from ASEAN countries will soon be given a chance to learn anime and manga production.
According to Kadokawa, two vocational schools will be built in Singapore and Taiwan this fall. And by 2016, 10 more schools will be established in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand.
A total of five courses will be offered: animation, manga, light novel writing, voice acting and character design. All schools will be managed by Kadokawa Contents Academy in Tokyo. Teachers from Japan will be sent to these institutions.
