“Trick or Miku?”
It’s already fall, and fall usually means Halloween, and in Hatsune Miku‘s latest collaboration with Japanese convenience store chain Family Mart, that is just what she celebrates as she has taken over Ikebukuro’s Sunshine City with some Miku goodies and Mikudayo.
Several collaboration items for the event called “Miku Loves Family Mart campaign 4th Halloween Trick or Miku?” were on display in Sunshine City and they were all embraced in the Halloween spirit.
The Halloween version of Mikudayo was even present for the festivities, and yes, many kids still find her scary, which truly gives the event some more Halloween credentials.
She pretty much terrorized the event by herself. Who do you prefer? Halloween Miku or Halloween Mikudayo?
The event also featured a Kuji game (or lottery) and the A prize is a Miku figure. Those who have purchased 500 yen or more worth of collaboration items will get a chance to win these awesome Hatsune Miku prizes.
Meanwhile, the Trick or Miku items displayed during the event included some Halloween-themed buttons, candies, drinks, bags, and even a USB stick. Not sure if they are scary or cute though.
And with the Christmas season coming right after the Halloween season (“The Nightmare Before Christmas” as they say), the event also introduced Family Mart Miku Christmas Cake for this year.
The nationwide Trick or Miku campaign will begin on September 30, 2014.
