Brace yourself world, the titans are coming, and first stop is Singapore!
The November issue of Bessatsu Shounen Magazine is announcing that the highly-successful Attack on Titan Real Escape Game will be heading overseas and their first stop is Singapore. The magazine also announced that the Real Escape Game will also be headed to Okinawa on November 9, 2014.
According to the leaked scan, Bessatsu Shounen Magazine announced that:
“Answering to passionate voices, the attraction attacks the world! Beginning with Singapore, attractions overseas have been green-lit!!!”
“Real Escape Games” combine the haunted house environment with puzzle solving and Scrap has held these games not only in Japan but also in Singapore, the United States and China. The Attack on Titan edition will sport the series theme and will have players join the Survey Corps. On the recruits’ very first day on the job however, the city is besieged by the titans. As it is really dangerous for players to use the 3D Maneuver Gear to kill the titans, the players’ goal is instead to flee to the city’s inner walls by solving puzzles. There will be a one hour time limit and those who stay behind will get eaten!
The Real Escape Game proved to be extremely difficult as only 120 of the 1,600 participants, which is less than 10% of the total number, managed to complete the game. A 1/1 scale bust of Titan Eren was also featured in the games.
More announcements about this international tour will be made in the future.
