It started out as a funny segment during The [email protected] anime’s episode 15, which pokes fun at the [email protected] mecha anime, Xenoglossia, as well as Chihaya’s robotic voice, Azusa’s cowlick hair, and Haruka’s “Evil” side, but now, the official  [email protected] blog has announced that there will really be a Mujin Gattai Kisaragi, and it will be a voice novel starring everyone who was featured in that joke trailer.

Mujin Gattai Kisaragi was originally a joke about Chihaya Kisaragi’s seemingly robotic voice while singing  “Ohayou! Asagohan” (and this resulted to Robo-Chihaya) and Sunrise’s [email protected] Xenoglossia super robot anime which many fans did not like very much.

THE IDOLM@STER - 15 - Large 17

It featured Chihaya as a (still flat-chested) robot ,which is piloted by Ami and Mami, taking on opponents led by a very evil Haruka. It also features Azuscythe with a seriously weaponized cowlick and boob rockets, and a robot Ritsuko. It was part of the anime’s 15th episode where it was shown as a “trailer” for an upcoming 765 Pro movie.

The voice novel will be available as an app for both android and iOS smartphones and will be released in two parts. So are you ready to hear Haruka ham it up as the main villain? Or how about hearing more jokes poking fun at poor Chihaya? Or are you excited about the return of the boob missiles? Well, it seems as if this is going to turn out to be a funny one as Bandai Namco is seriously putting a lot of effort into it.
