New Year is one of the most important holiday periods in Japan and it involves shrine visits, prayers, and of course feasts. And to celebrate the New Year with a feast, Japanese bento company, Kenkosansai, is teaming up with Pokemon for a Poke-themed New Year feast with a meal served inside a Pokeball.
Like many traditional Japanese bento boxes, these Pokeball meals will feature two layers of scrumptious New Year’s food from traditional Japanese pickles and omelettes to meatballs, shrimps and crabs.
The Pokemon New Year Bento will be delivered frozen starting December 30, 2014 and will cost 14,580 yen. Quite a feast indeed, don’t you guys say?
