As we go midway through the new Fall 2014 season, there are some anime we have dropped because we either find it boring or because it simply does not fit our tastes. But there are some anime which have really left a good impression and would really make us want to continue watching. Japanese anime character database, Charapedia, has taken a look at these anime which people want to continue watching the most, and has asked 10,000 anime fans to vote for the ones they are keeping.

Note that these rankings only contain new anime which premiered last October so titles like Akame Ga Kill and Sword Art Online II are definitely not included. With a 52.6% male and 47.4% female ratio, here are their Top 30:

1) Gugure! Kokkuri-san

In a surprising turn of events, supernatural comedy anime, Gugure! Kokkuri-san has beaten constant favorites, Fate, Seven Deadly Sins, and Psycho-Pass. The anime about an emotionless grade school girl being “haunted” by mischievous animal spirits was certainly voted the anime fans want to continue watching the most in Charapedia, and this just proves that its #2 ranking in Recochoku’s Top 10 is absolutely no fluke.

The three favorites, Seven Deadly ins, Fate/ Stay Night, and Psycho-Pass, have been consistent in making it to the top 5 in most anime rankings in Japan, and have often taken first place in some of them. #5 ranked Your Lie in April meanwhile is one of the surprises this season and has truly captivated a lot of people with its stunning visuals, excellent music, and interesting story and characters.

A total of 54 anime were included in the rankings, however, only the Top 30 were mentioned. The ones who unfortunately did not make it to the list include Wake Up Girls ZOO, Rage of Bahamut Genesis, Sora no Method, Chaika The Avenging Battle, Ai Tenchi Muyo, Garo, Bonjour ♪ Koi-mi Patisserie, and many more.
