There is nothing which says Japanese snacks quite like Pocky and Pretz, and Glico, which makes these snack foods, has teamed up with another Japanese icon in Final Fantasy for a new collaboration.

The collaboration features two new snack packs, whose box arts are illustrated by none other than Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts designer, Tetsuya Nomura who is still fresh from designing his own version of Hatsune Miku. The Final fantasy X Pretz boxes will contain a box of Pretz sticks and a special Final Fantasy mousepads, which come in three different designs.

The Final Fantasy X Pocky set meanwhile contains a box of Pocky sticks and a Final Fantasy 2015 calendar which comes with its own stand and can be used on tabletops or hanged up a wall. The calendars feature Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud while riding the G Bike and also features a mini calendar for 2016.

This collaboration is to promote the upcoming Final Fantasy Explorers video game for the 3DS, which is due for release on December 18, 2014 in Japan. These special Final Fantasy X Glico snack packs are now sold in various Lawson convenience stores until November 11, 2014.
