Just like Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend, the latest installment of the Blazblue franchise, Chrono Phantasma, will also be getting an extended version, as announced by Japanese gaming magazine, Weekly Famitsu.
According to a preview by the magazine’s official website, the upcoming updated version of Arc System Works’ popular 2D Fighting Game will be an enhanced version of Chrono Phantasma and will be featuring two new characters, and they are Celica A. Mercury and Lambda-11, who was first introduced back in Continuum Shift. Chrono Phantasma Extend will also be featuring new balance tweaks and a new “Extend” scenario in the game’s story mode that features Bullet, Kokonoe and Kagura.
The game will be released for three platforms, namely PlayStation 3, 4, and Xbox One. As for the PS3 and PS4 versions, cross-platform play will be available between the two.
Blazblue Chrono Phantasma Extend is scheduled for release for all three platforms on April 23, 2015. No word on an English or Chinese localization has been announced so far.
