TV stations in Japan are always rebroadcasting anime, however, there will always be some series that people want to see being shown once again. Japanese anime database Charapedia’s latest poll tackles the rebroadcast issue and asks fans what is the anime they want to see aired on TV once again.

The poll gathered 10,000 votes, 46.9% were male while 53.1% were female. It also featured 235 different anime series, however, only the Top 30 were announced. Here are the results:

1) Card Captor Sakura

Looks like the Japanese fans really miss Cardcaptor Sakura as they voted for it the most in these rankings, and they really do seem to watch it again. CCS’s win is not an upset whatsoever and fans have been dying to see a remake, and as this poll show, they are also content with seeing it rebroadcast.

With all the hype surrounding the new Digimon anime titled Digimon Adventure Tri, it would seem that this poll would be a walk in the park for the original Digimon series, however, that does not seem to be the case as the anime ranked lower than expected, which is right at the #8 spot.

The #2 ranked anime in the poll meanwhile is Gintama, and it seems that the Japanese viewers really want to see the anime rebroadcast to offer some laughs once again. #3 meanwhile went to Clannad and #4 to Code Geass, both of which are now considered classics and are surely also being missed by many fans back in Japan.
