Boasting Japan’s largest floor area for cosplay shoots, with several backgrounds and props, Haco Stadium Tokyo. One has finally opened. Just a 10-minute walk from the Minami-Funabashi station will get you to an area where cosplayers can go crazy on some photo shoots.
There, cosplayers can dress up as Vocaloid characters, Love Live! school idols, or [email protected] idols in their “stage studio”. They can have a Basketball shoot with their “gymnasium studio”, or have a pleasant school life with their “classroom studio”
Cosplayers can freely use any of the studios they want, however, if somebody else already is using their desired cosplay backdrop, then they will have to wait their turn to do their own photo shoot. You can also rent out photography equipment such as lights, strobe, props, and even cameras. Just in case you forgot your wig at home, or just don’t know what to actually cosplay, do not fret because ACOS has a shop where you can not only buy a wig, but also some costumes. Food and drinks can also be ordered.
Haco Stadium Tokyo. One is really dedicated to cosplayers as the facility really tries to cater to their needs. The cosplay studios range from your usual School Classroom and traditional Japanese backdrop, to a garden, a bedroom, a library, a church, a dining room, a dungeon, a Christmas theme, and a whole lot more. Here is a look at some of the various cosplay background studios currently available.
This “Cosplay Theme Park ” opened last November 29, 2014 and can be found in Chiba.
