An official twitter page for the light novel series, Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku, or Mikagura School Suite, has announced that the series written by renowned Vocaloid composer, Last Note, will be getting itself a TV anime adaptation.
The series is inspired by some of Last Note’s own Vocaloid Songs and features illustrations by Akina, who is also responsible for providing the illustrations for some of Last Note’s songs. The author/ Composer is best known for using GUMI, but he has also used other vocaloid characters like Hatsune Miku and Luka. Here’s his latest single, Caramel Heaven.
The light novels may be inspired by some of his songs, but it revolves around a girl named Eruna Ichinomiya, who transfers into the boarding school Mikagura, but instead of the normal boarding school life she expected, she becomes embroiled in the supernatural battles between the culture clubs.
One Week Friends director, Tarou Iwasaki, will be directing the anime, with Dogakobo as the animation studio responsible for producing it. More announcements will be made in the future.
