3) Kana Hanazawa as Kosaki Onodera (Nisekoi)

2) Aki Toyosaki as Yui Hirasawa (K-On!)

1) Tomokazu Sugita as Gintoki Sakata (Gintama)

Gintoki is often regarded by many as Tomokazu Sugita’s most iconic role, however, it seems like there are many fans who don’t seem to think he is the right one for the job. This is one rather surprising #1 as Sugita’s performance as Gintoki has often been considered comedy gold.

People also seem to not like Aki Toyosaki’s air-headed performance of one of the most iconic air-headed characters in anime, Yui. However, many seem to think that she is deserving of the number 2 spot as they feel that she should have a better singing voice.

It also seems like many people did not like many of Hiroshi Kamiya’s most iconic roles as Levi, Kayomi Araragi, and Izaya Orihara. While he lets out his mischievous nature in Izaya, his perverted nature as Araragi, and his seriousness in Levi, many seem to think that those weren’t enough to satisfy them.

Other roles are a bit more understandable with Masako Nozawa as Son Goku and Mayumi Tanaka as Monkey D. Luffy. While Nozawa would be perfect for the younger version of Goku, many feel that a guy should have been given the role of his adult version to bring out Goku’s manliness.

Other surprising roles that fans did not seem to like that much are very iconic ones, especially for the people voicing them. They include Aya Hirano as Haruhi Suzumiya and Jun Fukuyama as Lelouch Lamperouge. While Hirano’s rocking performances as Haruhi have many fans saying she is perfect for the role, many fans still seem to not think she is fit for it. As for Jun Fukuyama hamming it up, many people think the extra amount of ham by Fukuyama does not fit the more serious role as Lelouch.
