The 2.5D theater stage plays are the latest trend in Japan with anime, manga, and video game series such as Naruto, Gurren Lagann, Sailor Moon, and even Persona 3 and Phantasy Star Online 2, are getting live-action stage play adaptations, and the latest one to join the list is Sui Ishida’s bestselling horror manga, Tokyo Ghoul.

Mrv, which produces the play, has now revealed the play’s cast in costume as their characters via their official website and here they are:

The play will be held in Tokyo’s AiiA 2.5D Theater from July 2 – 8, 2015 before heading to Kyoto’s Kyoto Gekijou, which will have its live-action Tokyo Ghoul performances shown from July 18 – 20, 2015. Tickets for the play will cost 7,000 yen.

Chuuji Miksano, who wrote the script for both seasons of the anime adaptation is in-charge of writing the play’s script while Isamu Kayano will be directing.
