Renowned Japanese anime studio, Shaft, is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and it is celebrating it with a bang! Several renowned animators and directors have released several sketches which features several characters from some renowned Shaft anime, which include Madoka Magica, Nisekoi, the Monogatari series, [email protected], Gourmet Girl Graffiti, Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, and many more.

Part of the studio’s 40th anniversary includes a crossover exhibition called Madogatari, which features both Madoka Magica and the Monogatari series, which are two of the studio’s most popular anime.

Shaft was founded back in the September of 1975 and has gone on to animate some of the most unforgettable and popular anime works like Mahou Sensei Negima?!, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Mekaku City Actors, Nisekoi, and of course, Madoka Magica and the Monogatari series.
