After ending right before an epic battle to retake the capital of Pars, many fans were left hanging at the end of The Heroic Legend of Arslan, however, there is some great news as the Heroic Legend of Arslan event, “Yashasiin! Carnival”, announces a new TV anime, along with a new video.
According to the video, the anime is slated to premiere sometime in 2016. It was also announced that more announcements will be made in the anime’s official website in the days to come.
Arslan Senki follows Prince Arslan and Daryoon, a skilled soldier banished by Arslan’s father. Together, they must set off on a quest and gather members to their party and overcome an enemy which has more than 300,000 soldiers at their disposal.
The series is based on the manga by Hiromu Arakawa and Yoshiki Tanaka, and it has quite the pedigree as Yoshiki Tanaka is best known for creating Legend of the Galactic Heroes while Arakawa ‘s Full Metal Alchemist and Silver Spoon are two of the most loved mangas in Japan. More announcements will be made in days to come.
