The stage event also confirmed that Kishimoto won’t be writing or illustrating a serialized Boruto manga, but he will be supervising one. The Jump Festa stage event has officially announced that there will in-fact be a serialized Boruto manga, illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, who has worked under Kishimoto as his assistant on Naruto. Ukyou Kodachi, who wrote the Naruto – Gaara Hiden: Sajingensou, will be writing the script of the new manga, which of course will focus on the adventures of Boruto and his new generation of ninjas.
