Since 2011, fans of A Certain Magical Index have been begging Dengeki Bunko and J.C. Staff for a third season for the anime, however, it’s almost been five years and fans still don’t have one. Previously, Dengeki Bunko light novel editor, Kazuma Miki, has acknowledged that there is strong demand for a third season for the series, and recently, the editor has said that the third season is most certainly “plausible” in a new tweet.

“Please understand that this is an unofficial statement. I am always receiving everyone’s passionate opinions on this. Index anime [season 3] is plausible, so please wait!!”

In that tweet, he has said his own personal opinion on the matter. Being the editor for Kazuma Kamachi’s popular light novels, he would certainly be asked a lot about the third season, so it would only be natural for him to acknowledge the fans and try to keep the more rabid ones at bay and ask them to wait a bit longer.

Fans have been waiting for season 3 since 2011 when Season 2 ended, and hope was renewed in 2013 when the movie was shown.

Well, it does seem that Dengeki Bunko knows that the fans really want to see season 3, however, it also seems that we may be waiting a while longer to see it. Take note JC Staff, the fans are seriously waiting.
