Square Enix released a press statement saying that one of the most anticipated games in the world today will be delayed a few months. According to the video game giant, Final fantasy XV will have its release date moved from September 30 to November 29, 2016. FFXV Director Hajime Tabata later went on a video himself to officially announce the delay, and he even apologized. He later thanked fans for their understanding.

Given the amount of excitement generated for the game’s September release, many fans have been understandably disappointed by Tabata’s announcement. However, on the bright side, this might mean that the game will not be rushed, and it will also give the staff more time to polish up the game and fix some glitches and straighten out a few kinks.

And speaking of Final Fantasy XV, its own 3DCG animated movie, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, is premiering later this month, and IGN started streaming the movie’s first 12 minutes, which is narrated by Lena Heady’s character, Lunafreya.

And right off the bat, the movie comes out swinging , and is already full of action, and as expected, it looks pretty good from a visual standpoint. Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV happens at the very same time with the FFXV game. The game will follow what happens to King Regis after Noctis leaves with his friends for a trip.

Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones star, Sean Bean, will be the voice of King Regis in the English version, while his Game of Thrones co-star and nemesis, Lena Headey will voice Lunafreya. Breaking bad star, Aaron Paul, will be voicing Nyx. It is confirmed that the same team behind Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, is the same team working on Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV.
